- I'm Lyn Johnson, the founder/manager of the Childrens Writers Chit Chat Challenges Blog, which aims to provide children's writers, and writers for young teens, plus writers in general, with writing challenges that aim to spark ideas with a sense of wonder that children know well. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm also the host of an AOL Writers' Workshop that takes place in the AOL Pro Writers' Workshop Chat Room on Thursday evenings from 9PM-10PM EST. ~~~~~~~~~~ At other times I'm a writer/librarian, aka Carolyn M Johnson,writing secondary school Internet text books, plus beginning readers, pre-teen novels, articles for families, children (and teachers and librarians too) - some published, some on the road to publication. ~~~~~~~~~~ So, I urge you, if you are a children's or young teen's writer, take on one or more of the blog's challenges, and give your unique way of writing some food for thought. ~~~ Even if you write for other readers, give the challenges a try, adapting them to your own preferred area of writing.
